Summer Kicks Off on June 8th with Nighttime Hiking Adventure in Born. The UBS MoonWalker nighttime hiking event returns for its 5th edition on June 8th, taking participants on an enchanting journey through the Sûre Valley and partially along the Müllertal Trail under the light of the full moon.

After guiding hikers around Luxembourg City and the natural areas near Esch-sur-Alzette in previous years, this edition heads east to Born. The adventure will commence at the grounds of event sponsor and host Ramborn Cider Co., winding through the region hugging the Sûre River. Hikers can choose from 10km and 20km family-friendly routes, or the 30km "night owl" trek for those seeking an all-night excursion arriving at dawn.

Hiking's popularity has soared in recent years, with over 85.7 million #hiking posts on Instagram. Ranking alongside running and soccer as a beloved outdoor pursuit, epic hiking events are increasingly in demand - though most cater to ultramarathon distances of 50km or more. The UBS MoonWalker distinguishes itself by offering achievable distances amplified by the magic of nighttime terrain.
